Belgian Breweries

Where The Magic Happens

If there is one thing that Belgians take seriously, it’s their beer products. For them, these frothy drinks are not just average beverages, they are part of their culture. Creating more than 450 different kinds of beer, breweries in this country also have a habit of creating special glassware for their products that can best improve the aroma and presentation of their beer. Because of their unparalleled dedication to beers, Belgium has enjoyed an unbeaten reputation in beer-making ever since the Middle Ages. Beer lovers consider Belgian beer breweries to be the best in the world because of the unique flavor and character that their drinks possess due to their unquestioned attention to brewing detail.

Some of the most common beer styles in the country are brown, lambic, white, geuze, and cherry beer. Belgium, however, is most famous for its lambic beer which is created using an ancient way of brewing that uses different levels of fermentation. This type of beer is best known for its deliciously tart and bone-dry quality. Moreover, unlike other beers, the taste of lambic improves the longer it is left in its bottle, a quality that is only commonly found in wines.

If you have a special affinity for beers and decide to visit Belgium, your itinerary should never be without a trip to some of the best breweries in the country.
